Well, Thai Nguyen was born in South Vietnam, where his parents owned a private sewing school.
Of course, that meant Thai was introduced to sewing from a young age, and in 1993, he moved to America with his parents. For Thai, this was an opportunity to pursue his passion and become a famous designer – a goal he has certainly achieved!
In fact, Thai graduated from LA’s Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandizing, before becoming an associate designer for global fashion house BCBG Max Azria in 2002!
You will frequently see Thai Nguyen at the Oscars, Grammy’s and anywhere there is a red carpet. Unsurprisingly, his designs are famous for attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship – so no wonder the stars all want him!
